Welcome to the new and improved website of the Historical Engine Society. We are all very excited about the new look and layout. Please let us know what you think and provide any suggestions that might make it even better. Check back often because we are planning to add new things throughout the year.
There are a lot of exciting things happening with the club. The 2010 show will be our 40th anniversary show! Boy, it’s hard to believe that we have been doing this for so many years. We once again have an awesome looking raffle tractor that has been beautifully restored. Although it is the same model as last year’s raffle tractor, this tractor is three months newer than last year’s. Please let us know if you would like to purchase or sell raffle tickets. We are also offering a 40th anniversary collectable basket for sale to help raise funds for the club. Please visit the Club Store located in the tab to the left for purchasing information. As we develop the website you will find other items the club has for sale. Do you have all the plaques and buttons from each year’s show? Many are still available and can be purchased. Stop by the registration tent during the show or send an email letting us know what year you are missing and we will check to see if we have it available.
We have several new members that have jumped in and have started helping with the endless tasks that we seem to have. If you are not yet a member, please click here for a membership form. Send the completed form and your dues to the PO Box and your membership cards will be sent to you.
Our membership meetings are the second Thursday of each month except for August and December at Century Village Museum in the church basement starting at 7:30PM. Please feel free to join us! We are also always looking for help with some of the many tasks, from help with maintaining the equipment to restoring the raffle tractor and then taking it to the many area shows to sell tickets, just to name a few.
Remember, this year we are featuring anything Ohio built so please bring your Ohio built tractor, engine or implement to the show. Of course all other equipment is just as welcome to the show.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope to see you on July 30, 31 & August 1, 2010 if not before!
